Did you know that 83,000 people receive food assistance from the Greater Boston Food Bank every week in eastern Massachusetts

Last year, employees at Accor head offices around the world put on an outstanding display of generosity for Accor’s second Solidarity Day.  A total of 38 countries actively participated in the event by organizing a Caring Collection to support a local association. 

This year, Accor Services USA decided to sponsor a Food Drive for the Greater Boston Food Bank.  Commitment to the community we live and work in is very important to us, and our contribution to the food bank included three important pieces:

1.  Employees  were encouraged to contribute to a food drive
2.  Accor made a monetary donation to the Greater Boston Food Bank
3.  Accor employees have been invited to donate a day of their time to the Food Bank over the course of the first quarter of 2009, offering our support in manpower as well as supplies
