Commuter Check is an employee benefit, offered as a substitute for taxable salary, as a supplemental benefit (subsidy), or a combination of the two. They can be ordered in any denomination, and because they are checks, they’re accepted anywhere checks are accepted. Commuter Check vouchers are valid for 13 months, giving you flexibility to use them as needed.
We offer Commuter Checks in two convenient programs, Commuter Check Office and Commuter Check Direct. With Commuter Check Office, we send vouchers to your employer, who distributes them to you. This program works for organizations of all sizes—from those with a handful of employees to those with thousands.
Our Commuter Check Direct program allows you to order vouchers directly, using our online service. Vouchers are then mailed directly to your desired address each month.
